This wild mask was collected from Northern Mozambique in 2002. Carved from hard wood his mouth, ears and part of his nose are made of a fibrous material and applied to the wool.The patina is a worn polychrome finish of enamel paint. It is adorned with animal hair tufts (possibly tail) attached to a cloth band.
