Muramu
Izwi rokuti muramu kana mwaramu rinoreva zvinotevera:
- Mukoma (sisi) kana munin'ina wemukadzi wako wawakaroora. Kune mamwe matunhu izwi iri rinoshandisirwa muni'nina wemudzimai chete; mukoma anenge achinzi ndimaiguru.
- Mukoma kana munin'ina wemurume wako wawakaroora. Kune mawe matunhu, mukoma wemurume anenge achinzi ndibabamukuru. Babamudiki chete ndivo vanopinda muchikamu chekunzi muramu.
- Kune mamwe matunhu tete vemudzimai wako vanodanwawo kunzi muramu.
- Varamu vanhu vanokwanisa kuseka vose, kuita jee kana kutsiurana pane zvizhinji pasina kugumbukirana kuti zvazotaurirwei. Muramu wechikadzi anokwanisa kutsiura babamudiki vasingafarire zvokugeza mukuseka.

- MaZulu vanoti umlamuli (v. Mediator; one who separates contending parties). Mamwe mazwi: lamuza (Marry one's wife's sister; 2. Claim relationship by marriage).
